Well I started to get the shits with all the crap I had cluttered in the back of my sierra, so i ditched the backseats and chucked some mdf that I had in the shed in. Used the existing holes and bolted 'em in.
Bought this shelf thing from kmart for 20 bucks
Pondered for a bit on how I'd make it look, ended up flattening out one long edge on each shelf and bolted them together. then bashed some legs on and bent them to height
Also braced that for sturdiness but didn't take a photo. Screwed it into place and slapped some more mdf on the outside and voila!
Gonna carpet it up tomorrow or sunday, whenever i can be bothered i guess! Pretty happy with it, it's heaps stronger than I'd initially thought and it's all easily removable |

Well I initially was gonna get a professional one done, but when I saw they charged about 500 bucks for something like that i thought I'd just do it, and in the process see how cheap I could do it |

Looks erm. Bodgy! Mdf is going to absorb moisture like a sponge. Better off with marine ply. |

I whole heartedly agree on it's dodginess and shit looks Once I'm finished with the carpet it should look better, though. Honestly couldn't give a shit if it broke, hence why I did it cheaply |

Just please yourself. Bugger the others. If it does the job and stays together, it's good. At least you got off your arse and did it. It would be nice to see what the knockers have in theirs. Well done.
