i finaly got around to fixing the problem that my vit had of having the worst reversing lights that i have ever had on a car coupled with dark tint i literaly could not see at night. so i made myself one of these bad boys out of stainless. was going to go telescopic but was to lazy.

not bad for $20 worth of light and free material.
now i can actually see out of the back window a 530 when i go to work. best mod i have done to a car. (not really but most paractical)
and for some reason i cant get my pics to work properly doing exactly the same thing i normaly do

this is something I have wanted to do for years

what did you use for the vertical mount? I have a few ideas but yours looks really neat.

did you wire it off something in the back door or the reverse lights?

I'm not much chop with 12volts so need a bit of a clue on what to do.

i ran wires straight from the battery fuse and switch i thought about running a relay off the reverse lights but i couldn't of being bothered and i wanted to turn them on when ever i wanted to. all you need in bits are a fuse holder a fuse and a switch (and of course a light)i used a bit of 25 diameter sthainless pipe with 2 bits of flat bar welded to it.

Got some lights for mine the other day, pack of two, one for the back, one for the side "camping light" or Alley light!

Need the duel batt first!

Nice work, might come in handy :)
