hi all

ok i went and had some big tyres added to the Gv and noticed the front would rub when turning corners. i have not worried about this as i am lifting the front too but when cleaning the gv the other day i noticed a metal bracket holding the bottom of the wheel arch to the bumper

1 pair of pliers and a quick twist has supplied an inch of clearance :D

How are your tires in the rear wheel arches, Tim?

I found them to be more of a problem than the fronts (before I lifted it) when I had 235/70's fitted. I did the Oodnadata track, with a little bit too much weight on board for the stock suspension, and shoulder of the right rear tire got cut up by the metal lip at the top of the wheel arch, and was also rubbing on the plastic at the front edge. I took both the rear wheels off and gave the metal lip a bit of a massage with the rubber mallet to give a bit of extra clearance. The tire has made its own clearance on the plastic bits...
