Hi all! (it's been a while). So I'm roadtripping to QLD from Sale this Christmas/New Years and wanted a flat floor for packing into the back; but I also wanted to keep the rear seat for once we get there just in case we need it. Here's the end result!
It folds in half to make it easier to get in and out of the back
The whole thing sits on top of the side trims, and is held in place by two 90mm bolts wrapped in pool noodle that fits snugly into the cupholders
Weekend well spent! |

Can't take credit for it, i'm afraid - I copied a template I found many months ago while googling and have since forgotten where I found it - some European board I think. Here's the original file - his was geared more towards camping and had cutouts to hold ammo boxes and gas cylinders in place. |

Me likey. I think I'll use this shape for my bed base. Considered this when I made my floor thingy but didn't want to go that high. Looks very cool. |

thats a really cool idea, might steal the idea also, flat floor without having to remove the rear seats. |

Back from the Xmas roadtrip now - it carried more than 200kg worth of gear over 6000km so you should be right. I used 18mm ply too - that'll be the bit that makes the difference for you |
