i'm getting old.......and starting to get fussy about how the gear looks in the shed. i'm told i spend too much time cleaning my gear (bad choice of words i know!). but hey, a clean tool is a good tool.
my old mig trolley, while serving me well for many years really looked like it was made in 5 minutes....which it was. so i drew a new one up and finaly got it together.
and now i can use 15kg rolls.....woo hoo.

This may not be an issue but how stable is the bottle when you move it around?

X3. And it will also corrode in the open air. Perhaps make a cover for it and sit some of those silicone packing bags under the wire to absorb moisture from the air around the coil.
I have 5 of them in my remote wire feeder. Seems to keep the wire from rusting up when not used for a few weeks.
