If you are going to waste a post whinging about spelling you can either
A. make sure you never ever make a mistake in any post ever again, specially the same thread
B. Fuck off back to the hole you came from
C. Front up for your own forum and make whatever rules suits you
until then if you dont understand a post make the decision that you have nothing useful to add AND DONT POST

ok you dont crush it, you notch it, there is a thread on this forum about easy ways to do it
for material you want AS1163 C350 CHS, make sure its Cold Drawn CHS not hot rolled ERW, for no other reason than if you wish to compete in any comps this it what you need

cruch the tube??your spelling is bad haha.do you mean crush the tube?like hand rails etc get done? if so no i wouldnt do it that way myself it doesnt take long to notch it out to suit the pipe and looks nicer, makes the welding easier.i just marked mine at the hight and low points, drew roughly where i wanted to notch it with a texta, made the cuts with a 9 inch then rounded off with a 5 inch.took bugger all time.
There is a notching thread on pirate 4x4 i believe for use with a drop saw to help get good angles etc?Hope this helps in some way mate

even tho i have a cage on mine i am really not a fan of them. But the body was shagged and i thought it would be fun to try make.
Do many people on here daily drive with exos and have cop problems?

I too worry about this, as exo is on my to do list over the next 3-4 months.
I would assume, the more it looks like functional roof racks/ladder racks, the less cop attention you will receive.
