awhile ago this happened to my rear diff
i made a template and got some steel cut and welded them on
the mounts are now 10mm thick, they have been on the car for around 6000ks and no problems |

my little brace from the trailing arm mount to the diff tube still let it twist a tiny bit but made it strong enough |

That's when you just add more steal to the tube. I have similiar strenghtened mounts, except more added to the back section and the rear mounting hole lowered to turn the whole housing back around level so the pinion flange is still at the same angle as the rear trasnfer output.
Front has been done the same and for castor correction. |

did you have to remove anything from the diff to weld them on or did you do it on the car? |
