Had to turn up some spacers to tack onto the back of the case mounts. Well I didn't, LTM21 kicked me off the lathe and turned them up for me.

Finished product.




Installed.


Orders. Should have made better templates as I went. Never had any intentions of going into production. This mount is only lightweght. All made from 2mm sheet.

Pretty simple but fiddly at times.
Probably cost less than $10 to make. Only used 2mm sheet metal though because that what I had.

The only change I would make is to fold the plate up the side of the long mount not weld it to the bottom of it.

How has this held up DMAC? Looking at making something like this at the moment and just looking at the best way of attacking the
situation without spending mega bucks.

Get a roctoy ring or the spine ring from lowrange. Cheap, less of a pita, and stronger.

So far so good. I do have on my do list to take it out and check how the mount on the case is holding up.
