yes. yes i do. why.
the glow is a lot brighter tonight, i think the paint has dried properly.
i did five coats with around 10 minutes drying between coats. the instructions said 2 hours between coats.

you are right damo the further away from Darwin you live the more you can get away with. we have similar laws as QLD however there is no one to pass modifications so nobody worries about it. including the police.

bit of an update. the paint is not very durable and is starting to come off when i gerni the car. it also seems to be encouraging rust in some places. so i am gunna try to make a bit of a movie. i think it would look good flying through mud and then paint the thing with proper paint. hhmmm i have 4 liters of metal flake in the shed.

did you prep clean the body before painting then clear coat it after to seal it? that might be why is coming off and rusting.

i put no effort into preparation at all. i half expected it to fall off the next day.
i was unable to find a clear that would let UV light through, and stick to what is essentially a water based house paint.

nope, i didn't bother. the doors are on my lwb now and they still glow really well
did you paint the diffs white? apparently it needs to go over white to get the best result.

not quite the professional job but works all the same
