Hey all, been absent for a few years now after selling my old 89 leafy beast. I have returned to the fold however having recently acquired a 96 coily. Yep, I know, inherently harder to mod but I'm not looking for hardcore at this stage! My question for today is how can you tell the difference between a coily transfer and a leafy one? Are there obvious external differences? I dont have much of the history of this car so I'm not sure what is and isnt stock. If it helps, at an indicated 100kph (running 30s, gps read 111kph) I am sitting on about 3600rpm. Here is a pic of the transfer:

And the car itself. Just because!

Thanks in advance!

Ta mate, picked it up a few months back from a fella in Glenorchy for my step father to use on the farm. He barely used it then sold the farm. Told me I may as well have it! Just need to source a WT leafy transfer now and work on a front bar.

Just bolted a wide track case into the coily. All bar the jack shaft. Must have got my wires crossed, I didn’t realise I needed the jack shaft from the wide track. (Insert face palm emoji here)

Update- Leafy transfer is in. New instrument readings are favourable. An indicated 100kmph now brings up 105-106 on the gps at around 3750rpm.
