I know us jimny owners need to look good above all else, so I figured I would show all of you how I mark out the flairs to be cut. Take one piece of engineers chalk and rub it along the fold in the flair. This will make a solid and easy to follow line. I then use a jigsaw and a file to remove the flair extra and the dag left on it.

I cheated on my new guards. 100mph tape and fiberglass. I'm happy with the outcome and it will make it daily easy to cut more out or change it!

How well has this held up? You fibre glasses the top side in but what about the inner guard section? Any more photos?

Its been fine on the last few trips! No cracking or coming away. Not sure what you keen? I ran the fiberglass about 4inches over the remainder of the steel. Its very solid. My tires are a good 4inches wider than my guards, so the panel work is fairly safe.
