I am looking at building a set of high clearance UBolt plates for my sierra, just wanted to see if anyone can give advice on obvious problems with them? A quick google search brings up heaps of options for spua LandCruisers etc. but nothing Suzuki related. I can't see any reason you couldn't replicate the same plates for a 2 inch wide spring. Does anyone have experience with this?

For the highest clearance you can delete the u bolts altogether and use countersunk bolts.

I have seen a set of superior engineering style ones for a Sierra on one of the facebook pages.

No reason you couldn't make a set. In the front at least you'd probably want taller shock towers to compensate for raising the bottom mount.

This is what steve was referring to, from memory they couldn't get these ones engineered.

Thanks sideways. We didn’t try engineering these, but recently GregC has replicated them on his sierra.

Thanks sideways for the pics, I already have massive shock towers and will be out boarding the shock anyways, so that won't be an issue, those plates definitely look easy enough to do
