Now living in emerald, something has happened to the Jeep and it’s getting outstanding fuel economy. Seems to be averaging around 930km to 105L fuel while cruising at 110kph. Reckon I could get 1000km from a tank without to much issue.
Have a weeping rear axle seal so will chuck some wheel bearings and seals at it. Have a few big trips planned this year so probably should get on top of the maintenance.
My travelling companion doesn’t say much and stinks a fair bit but doesn’t whinge and doesn’t like hippy’s so that’s a bonus

Bought some flash rear shocks as the bilstein ones fell apart within 300km.
Also have some flash alloy rear inner fenders to fit. Still haven’t sorted the geometry correction but due to the shit qld roads I want to do that this week as well.
Oh and I bought some laser driving lights to see what they are like and FMD they are bright. So bright that I removed the 50” light bar

Just got home from a quick 8000km trip. The Jeep continues to amaze me with its reliability and bush ability. 180000km and no real issues.

Rear antirock rock fitted and holy moly it was a mission due to my rear bar and some other mods being in the way. Feels good on road but it’s probably going to be a while before I can see what it’s like in the bush.
Also put on lockers driving light switches on a A pillar pod with the brake controller and second fuel tank switch.

Done 50000km since locker and new gears. Looks like the diff builder didn’t use locktite, gears look ok so hopefully no major damage.

Diff didn’t seem to be damaged at all so I just bolted it back together with a new cover. Done about 2000km and no nasty noises So thought I may as well stick some 35” maxxis razr tyres on it

So I have owned it for a bit over 4 years and traveled all over the country in it with pretty much no issues so I went and ordered this bad boy today.

Bullbar, winch, auxiliary fuel tank and rear bar ordered. Hopefully I won’t have to wait to long for the car and all the bits.
Just need to work out what suspension and tyres to run.
Fucken can’t wait to wheel it

Changed my order to include a few extras, will just chuck a winch into the rubicon bumper. I can’t wait to get started with mods. Also thinking these rims so I can fit a tricky suspension kit https://www.methodracewheels.com/produc ... 3413195837

Got sick of waiting for the green one so bought a fully loaded white one instead. Can’t decide what to do with the yellow one, should probably sell it but because it is awesome I want to keep it as well
