Good stuff Joe. I notice you've had a few different configurations on the draw bar. You don't need the water and gas anymore or do you just set it up depending on where you're going? |

Cheers Pete Nah haven't needed the extra fuel and the water we keep in the back of car but a small water tank will be finding it's way under the trailer some time soon i think |

Picked the trailer up from my mates and picked up rims from powder coaters today. Tyres from Kate's car went on so that makes wheel and tyre combo number five even splashed out and got new wheel nuts I would of been happy with gate latches to hold the lid down but my mate reckons "nah fuck that ill make something up" |

Finished Next on the list is a fold out table off the tailgate, water tank underneath and then trailer breaks |

Cute dog I really like the bar treads on it. Good solid trailer. I've been thinking that I should have hinged mine from the front instead of the side, much better access. |

Hi mate, is that a rubber seal between the steel frame and trailer? I'm not happy with the torno cover letting so much crap get in my trailer and will be making a solid lid. But I'd rather make a frame like yours then just chuck a sheet of ply over it. Also, Is it heavy to lift the lid and RT camper together? |

G'day Pete yeah it's some rubber I got from Clark rubber just sicaflexed on, and it is a little on the heavy side but with the gas struts ya just flick the latch and it raises by itself |

A few weeks ago we used the trailer for a quick over night stay on the farm, on the way back the trailer started to have a bit of a hop and bounce Pulled over and one of the BFG a/t had grown a egg on the crown we were only a few kms from home so i just let a heap of air out of the tyre and slowly drove home safe and sound I still had the old BFG m/ts laying around so tyres weren't an issue but while i was at it i thought fuck it ill change rims too Bought three of these 16x7 CSA rims awhile ago for bugger all I know a good powder coater and got these done nice and cheap Just need to find some centre caps as the suzuki ones are to small |

Farkin more then four years since i posted in here Have still been using the camper a few times a year The ute has been sold so the camper needs to go on a diet, the lift up lid will go and the old rack setup back on. This will sit under the tent And another different set of rims and tyres |

Auszookers thread update notification, something we don't see very often these days. Evolving as requirements change. I've looked at mine a few times to possibly shed some weight, needs glory holes. |
